Pregnancy Tidbits

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 13 weeks & 1 day

Size of baby: We are a peach

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Two pounds

Maternity Clothes: Wear some t-shirts—just because they are looser.

Gender: Don't know yet but we will be finding out Nov. 2nd!

Movement: No—we are ready!—Maybe 2 or 3 more weeks?

Sleep: Depends on the night

What I miss: Turkey sandwiches, Diet coke, & sleeping well

Cravings: None this past week

Symptoms: Dizziness setting in if I stand too quickly & bad headaches the past 2 days :(

Best Moment this week: Knowing Wednesday we have our 3rd doc. Appt. and hoping to hear heartbeat again!

Pink or Blue?

Well, I have been pretty busy with “old wives tales” to predict this little baby’s gender.



I have done the following: Chinese lunar calendar, the string above your belly, a few surveys, & a few other “tales.”


I really was feeling this baby was a boy….these wives tales however think we are having a girl.


November 2nd you really can’t get here soon enough!

Size of baby: My updates (email) say the size of a plum

Total Weight Gain/Loss: One pound—looks like more in the belly

Maternity Clothes: Again—don’t quite need them—but I do have some.

Gender: Don't know yet but we will be finding out Nov. 2nd!

Movement: No—we are ready!

Sleep: STILL AWFUL!

What I miss: Turkey sandwiches, Wine, & Diet coke

Cravings: Cupcakes

Symptoms: My energy is coming up a little…ready to sleep better.

Best Moment this week: reaching 12 weeks—and knowing I am just 2 weeks from the 2nd (supposed “best”) trimester

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 11 weeks

Size of baby: My updates (email) say the size of a lime

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Not really sure…haven’t gained much—but I feel bigger

Maternity Clothes: Have I bought some—absolutely—do I need them yet—no.

Gender: Don't know yet but we will be finding out Nov. 2nd!

Movement: Nope—but very ready to feel something

Sleep: Not much improvement here :(

What I miss: Turkey sandwiches!

Cravings: STEW!

Symptoms: This week I feel pretty good…still just sleepy!

Best Moment this week: Scheduling our gender appointment- November 2nd!!



Puppies

Well, I said I wouldn't be blogging much until the baby came-- I lied! This is fun.


Our two dogs are pretty funny when they play together--our oldest dog Izzy (she's also bigger) only makes an appearance when she is patient enough to deal with little bro. The first few are just of Godzilla...but at the end you will see "the stand-off" over their toy! I wonder how the baby will fit into the mix of playtime??

Baby's Gender

We have just made our baby's "gender" appointment--we will find out November 2nd!
We are having a fun little cake cutting party where some family and friends will come over to see what "color" the inside of the cake is :)

Very exciting & cannot wait for it to get here!!!

It may look something like the picture attached or it may just be plain white on the outside!

9. What was the first thing you thought this morning? I don’t want to wake up

10. What was the first concert you ever went to? ELTON JOHN—HAHA—I wanted him to play the Princess Diane Memorial song—and he did not!

11. What was the first state you lived in? OKLAHOMA

Pregnancy Tidbits

Pregnancy Tidbits:

How Far Along: 10 Weeks & 3 days

Size of baby: Not sure exact measurements, but my book says it’s the size of a lime or a plum

Total Weight Gain/Loss: So far I've gained 1lb-2lbs depending on the day

Maternity Clothes: Yup—wanted to get some on SALE!

Gender: Don't know yet but we will be finding out in October or Early November!

Movement: Not yet

Sleep: I wake up 1,000 times a night—makes for a very cranky lady!

What I miss: Diet coke (only one a day if I have that) and sleeping on my stomach

Cravings: Not too many…Shoguns & Mixes from Braum’s—Burgers don’t sound good for some reason

Symptoms: I'm tired all the time and often I feel nauseous, but that is getting better!!

Best Moment this week: Knowing I am another week along!

BABY DOTY

Adam & I are expecting our first little one!

Baby Doty will be due April 1st-5th (range we are getting)

We will be finding out the sex! (Late Oct./Early Nov.)

I will update when I have more information on our latest edition!
